389 hand-picked symbols grouped by what they are actually for: hearts, stars, arrows, ticks, currency, mathematics, brackets, box-drawing lines, music, zodiac, card suits, flowers, circled numbers, legal marks and sparkles. Tap any one to copy.
Everything on this page is Unicode text rather than a picture, but the symbols fall into two groups with different behaviour. The first group is plain text characters — hearts, arrows, math signs, brackets, box-drawing lines, circled numbers. These are in essentially every font ever shipped, so they survive copy and paste, email, plain-text editors and anything else you throw at them. The second group is the newer decorative set: four-pointed sparkles, flowers, the concave diamond and the small punctuation used in aesthetic sequences. These are also text, but they need a font that covers the symbols block, which every current system font does and some older ones do not.
The practical consequence: if you are decorating a bio or a caption, use anything on this site. If you are building a username, a file name or something that has to survive an unknown system, prefer the first group. When a symbol shows as a box after pasting, that is a font gap on the receiving device rather than a problem with the character you copied.
Every category page lists the symbols twice: once as a copy grid for speed, and once as a table with the Unicode name of each character and what people normally use it for. The table is the part most symbol sites skip, and it is the reason this one is worth using — knowing that ✦ is a four-pointed star and ✧ its outlined twin is what lets you build a sequence that actually alternates instead of a row of identical marks.
On a phone, tap the symbol and it is on your clipboard; long-press where you want it and choose Paste. On a desktop, click the symbol and press Ctrl+V, or Command+V on a Mac. If you are on a desktop and you need the same symbol repeatedly, the Windows character picker (Windows key plus period) and the macOS one (Control, Command, Space) also work — but neither includes most of the symbols on this page, which is why a copy page like this one is the faster route.
